New Pokemon

Am I the only one that doesn't like most of these new Pokemon? Honestly, we're going to end up with 50 legendary Pokemon at this rate; and the new legendaries look like Digimon rather than Pokemon. Some of the Pokemon look cute, but they've gone back to recycling old concepts. (Ratatta > Bidoof > Chillarmy)

What do you think of the new Pokemon? Like/dislike?

I love Weedle With A Leaf , if you can't tell, best one so far

I don't like most of these pokemon as I'm sure you know. I like a few of them, but mostly on the basis of the fact that they're new species and not, as you pointed out, copouts to previous generations. My biggest issue is that there is a rumor going around saying that not as many of the previous generation pokemon will be readily catchable. That means that there is way too much room for shoddy and rushed pokemon that I'm just not sure I'm willing to deal with.

Right now, my love is for Rankurusu.. That's the only one I like, also, I'm on perma-no new poke's.. I wanna have that omg whats that pokemon, what moves does it have experience.. I'll be waiting a while though for the games to finally get released..

Currently my favorites are Gigaiasu Wooguru and Kibago. I like some of the others but to me most of them look weird....
And as Puppet said there using old concepts to make these Pokemon (Rattata>Bidoof=Chillmary)

Yeah,you can only obtain Isshu Pokemon up until you get the National Dex from what I've heard.The poll isnt very clear,but I voted No,because I dont hate the Pokemon.Yes,they arent very original,but they seem a lot better than the pokemon they were re-made of.

I think its a dissapointment to me. ALL the pokemon look like regular animals then pokemon.

the only one i like so far, is the crocodile thing, and only because of its typage dark/ground T_T my two favorite types put together finally.

Yea like victini its look like one of the characters from an anime i saw lmao.

The new ones are alright, but I'm beyond tired of seeing recycled pokes, and Seeing first generation pokemon still getting new evolutions makes me sad. Like magmar, magneton, and electabuzz's evo forms are just like "...really? was that necessary?"

I like a couple of them, but overall I'm really afraid that they're going to make ridiculous Pokemon all over the place, and we won't be able to see most of them until it's out.

Pokemon lost originality a long time ago, and as was previously stated, I personally dont like how many "Legendarys" that have been created and thrown around.

I think its evolution is gonna be like a beedrill but looks different

Its evolution better not look like Beedrill or we're going to have some serious problems.

I like them but they look like pokemon parts from sino and canto

A talking pencil might be more worthwile than the 5th generation.

I don't love all of the new Pokemon, but I like the starters, Weedle with a leaf, Emonga, and the new pre-psydo-legend. I also like Rankurusu. You can also get old Pokemon from the Dream World, I think.

Your statement is correct. The DreamWorld will contain pokemon that were normally found in either Kanto, Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh.

Also, they can have different abilities then normal.. Like Vaporeon. If you get it from the dream world, it get's hydration..

agreed on the recycling concept thing.what bugs me even more though is how many legendaries are out in every new gen......that's just not making them special anymore.a legend is supposed to be rare and/or super strong,but too many of them around doesn't make them have that legend feel anymore.but i like Kibago for the reason that it stands out as being somewhat unique compared to all those pikachu/ratata copies,it's looking good to me
