Pokemon AquaRed - Chapter 2 - The rival battle

"Jimson, your friend called. He is hoping to battle you today!" Said Jimson's mother.

"Really? Wow! Which friend is this?" Jimson muffled with a handful in his mouth.

"It's Jakeo, he's got his own Pokemon from his dad and he is hoping he can battle you!"

Jimson sat down and could not believe what he was hearing, Jakeo was his close friend but he was quite arrogant when there were contests and would be quite de-motivating at times. But the two remained close friends nonetheless.

"Your PokeDex and pokeballs also came, he's outside waiting for you! Hurry up Jimson!" Said his mum in an impatient way.

Jimson ran outside and took Tepig with him, Jimson wanted to see what Pokemon Jakeo had and hoped it would not be a water type pokemon.

"Well hello Jimson! I have been looking forward to this, are you prepared to lose?" Jakeo said.

Like I said before, Jakeo had a ton of arrogance on him and would come up with excuses whenever he lost at times. He would not accept losses and would always whine when ether he didn't get what he wanted.

"Jakeo, don't be arrogant please. We talked about this, just be respectful."

"Who cares? GO CHATOT!" Jakeo shouted, the pokeball flew in the air and a white flash went out. A flying type Pokemon came out, Jimson was puzzled to what it was so he checked his PokeDex.

"CHATOT! THE NORMAL/FLYING TYPE POKEMON! CHATOT HAS NO DISCOVERED EVOLUTIONS AND IS WELL KNOWN FOR IT'S ICONIC MIMICKING OF HUMAN SPEECH! CHATOT IS KNOWN FOR ITS SIGNATURE MOVE CHATTER." Said the PokeDex.

Jimson did a head and tails and Jakeo won it. Jimson was a little peeved off with that but he didn't really mind too much.

"CHATOT! USE SKY ATTACK" Shouted Jakeo. Chatot began to glow red and was storing the air energy. Jimson looked worried at how powerful this attack would be.

"Tepig use Ember!" Tepig shot out an ember at Chatot but it didn't really affect it too much, Chatot still was storing energy and ready to hit out.

"Terrible pokemon you got there! Weak as hell! Chatot now do it!" Chatot charged right at Tepig glowing red, the attack was fast and stunned Jimson.

"QUICK! USE TACKLE ATTACK" Said Jimson recklessy, the two attacks collided but obviously Tepig took much more damage, Tepig fainted and Jimson was dissapointed. He grabbed Tepig and cradled him.

"Tepig don't worry, you did the best you could do" Said Jimson nicely.

"Best you could do?! That pokemon was weak! Dude train it! Stop the sorry ass attitude you are giving it."

Jimson felt a load of anger go through him, he stood up to Jakeo and looked like he was about to burst a blood vain.

"Pokemon are your friends! Not your slaves! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THNK YOU ARE?! I don't pressure them like you do!" Shouted Jimson.

"Screw off cry baby, I owned your sorry ass and I'm gonna keep doing it until you stop being a cry baby to your Pokemon"

"WELL I DON'T WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH A THUG." Snarled Jimson. "GOOD DAY SIR"

The two walked back to there own houses, Jimson carried Tepig and felt disgusted with Jakeo. He was thinking that his Pokemon must go first then his own winning and he would always protect Tepig no matter what.

"Hi Jimson, glad you are home. What happened in the battle?" Said his mum anxiously.

'"He beat me and made fun of me, told me to treat them like crap then care for them."

"WHAT DID HE SAY?! That's horrible! Pokemon are your friends! Not your slaves, you don't need to be friends with a thug like that, until he does some growing up then maybe!" His mom replied.

Tepig started to cry, he jumped up and began to glow white. Jimson and his mum stared in excitement. Tepig began to change form and started to get a little bigger, he started standing up right and all the white evolution stuff dissapeared. Tepig has now evolved.

"PIGNITE" It shouted loudly and gruntingly.

"What is that"? Jimson said in amazement, he checked his PokeDex.

"PIGNITE! THE FIRST EVOLUTION OF TEPIG! PIGNITE IS NOW A FIRE/FIGHTING TYPE! PIGNITE IS KNOWN FOR BOXING AND BEING USED IN POKEMON FIGHTING TYPE TOURNAMENTS, IT MAINLY COMES FROM THE UNOVA REGION"

Jimson was absolutely happy having a new partner and Jimson could not believe his luck having it evolve already. Jimson walked up stairs with Pignite and the two sat down on the bed. Jimson then looked at his map and knew that he and Pignite needed to travel. Not travel to defeat Jakeo but travel to get stronger.
