"Welcome To New York City" said the computer as Jacob drove his duel runner through the entrance. He has just gotten his Turbo Duel Liscence, at Duel Academy in Washington and was heading to New York, his home town, to catch up with his friends. He pulled up outside the place he used to hang out, locked hisrunner and began to walk around. Before long he heard the call of a voice he had long forgotten. "Jacob? Why are you showing ,your pathetic ass around here again after I beat you?" Jacob turned around and spotted his Rival from Duel Prep, Loydd. Loydd had always been better than him, and had won every duel they had ever had together.

"Well it just so happens Loydd, that I'm here to see my family." said Jacob in defense. Loydd looked over to where Jacob's duel runner was parked. "That your runner?" he asked impressed. "Yeah. Why?" Jacob replied suspiciously. A smirk crawled acrossLoydd's face and then he said. "I'll tell you why. We'll duel and if I win.I get your runner." It became obvious to Jacob that Loydd still didn't have a duel runner. Jacob, not doubting his duel skills accepted Loydd's challenge. After they both got prepared they met at the center of the park. Jacob's duel disk was reminicent of the Battle City disk, however it could easily attach to his runner. While Loydd's disk was a dark color with red slots for cards. "He-he. Prepare to say goodbye to your runner!"
"I don't think so! I'm going to win this time! Let's duel!"

Jacob: 4000
Loydd: 4000

"Since I'm obviously going to win," announced Loydd, "You may have the first turn."
"Fine then! I draw!" Jacob looked at his hand and smiled at what he had got, his hand contained;
Junk Synchron, Graceful Charity, Mage Power, Call of The Haunted, Quillbolt Hedgehog and Turbo Synchron.
"I'm going to play the spell card! Graceful Charity! This card allows me to draw 3 cards and then discard two!"
"I know what it does Loser!" barked Loydd.
Jacob picked 3 cards from the top of his deck, they were:
Oilman, Dimensional Prison and Pain to Power.
"I'll discard these two!" announced Jacob, sending his Oilman and Quillbolt Hedgehog to the Graveyard.
"Next I'll set 2 cards and then summon! Junk Synchron Through Junk Synchron's effect, I choose to revive! Oilman!"
Oilman appeared on Jacob's field next to Junk Synchron. "Now by the effect of the Quillbolt Hedgehog sleeping away in
the grave! I can revive him!" Quillbolt Hedgehog appeared along side Jacob's other two monsters.
"FInally! I'm going to tune them together!" he announced while the monster's pooled there energy!

'Melding Machines Cluster together to form the strongest defense! The Protector of Peace! Synchro Summon! Power Tool Dragon!'

"You're still using that Pathetic Imposter Dragon card!?" giggled Loydd, "I'll give you credit that you summoned it on your first turn. But seriously, it's pathetic."
Jacob didn't seem bothered by Loydd's insult and then replied, "I activate Power Tool Dragon's effect! By selecting 3 Equip spells from my deck, you choose one at random and then I can add it to my hand." Jacob's deck spat out the 3 cards that he had selected. They were; Megamorph, United We Stand and Double Tool C & D.
Loydd then picked the middle one, which was United We Stand, so Jacob got to add it to his hand while the rest went back to his deck. "I then equip my Dragon with Mage Power, increasing it's attack by 500 for every Spell or trap card on the field." Since there were 3 Spell or Trap cards, Power Tool Dragon's attack rose by 1500, leaving it at 3800.
"I end my turn." said Jacob confidently.

"You're finally done then." Said Loydd as Confident as ever. "My turn I draw!" And I play the spell card Dark Hole! Now all of your effort was for nothing! Hahaha!"
