Pokemon Best Wishes: Iris

Iris was introduced in Episode 1 of Pokemon Best Wishes, which features Ash going to Unova

She wasn't named until Episode 2: Iris and Kibago.

Description:
Iris is the daughter of the Gym Leader in Souryuu City and is travelling Isshu. She first meets Ash soon after she sees a storm created by Zekrom on the horizon. She is a very playful girl and a bit wild as she has been seen swinging from vines and getting around by climbing on trees. She is very playful with pokemon aswell, unfortunatly this often results in her being attacked by them

Axew



Not much is yet known about Iris' Axew as it has not been used in battle. However, like Ash's Pikachu, it doesn't go in its PokéBall, and when needs to retreat, hides in Iris' hair, coming out to eat when necessary. Axew spent a long period of time trying to master Dragon Rage with it finally doing so later on.

Excadrill



This pokemon was revealed in the preview of Episode 9, It shows Iris calling here Excadrill to the battle field.
Excadrill and Iris used to best of friends, however when it was easily defeated in a battle with Drayden's Haxorus it lost trust in her. When Iris uses it to battle a Beartic it starts to regain trust, and even learns Focus Blast

Iris captured Emolga when they met it in a forest, Iris tried to protect Emolga form a swarm of Swoobats. It then started to like Iris. Later on it caused problems with it's Volt Switch attack.
