The Battle Tower's pretty fun, but not when you get to rank 3 and get demoted again online. Anyone know the perfect team to start racking up wins by the 100?

So Far I've used
Blissey (SoftBoil, Thunder Wave, Seismic Toss, Ice Beam)
Dragonite (Earthquake, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Fire Punch)
Charizard (Substitute, Flare Blitz, Focus Punch, Swords Dance)
Lucario (Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Stone edge)

I' ve used them in every single combo I could think of, Rank 3 is like the highest I go.

Biggest Weakness: Gyarados w/ Dragon Dance and Milotic.

Any ideas? Do I need a new battle team, or if you have any recommendations please tell me. confused

Well, EV Train your pokemon and it's easy to win. Especially an EV Trained in Attack and Speed Weavile with Ice Punch. It pwns.

that doesn't mean you can't lose in the tower.even with EVed pokemon you WILL eventually lose.it's just a matter of time, with EVeds you just make it further

Exactly my point. With EV trained pokemon, you get some much further then using average pokemon.

You just need a lot more coverage, that's all. When selecting Pokemon and movesets, try to find the combination that covers the most Types you possibly can.

Yeah, but there's always hazards... EG Nidoking's fake Megahorn or Articuno's sheer cold, ironically their's never miss whilst mine do like 70% of the time.

if you wanna be a copycat,i've seen a team on a youtube vid that had a pokemon with Trick(holding a Choice Item to lock your opponent into a single move) and a Sturdy Pokemon that can setup.Latias and Registeel were the pokemon i saw that got the guy through countless battles.Registeel would setup with Curse after Latias had locked the opponent into a move that did very little to Registeel.

You don't need Registeel, but a pokemon with Trick is very handy to have since the AI hardly switches pokemon at all.Froslass and Gengar are 2 pokemon that can use Trick.Loppunny can use Switcheroo which does the same thing as Trick
