Should I try Parkour?

Post by Zekrom on Sat 28 Aug 2010, 8:54 am

I've been thinking about how I should pre-occupy my time lately, and I'm eventually going to run out of books to read.

Basically, Parkour is a sport where you jump around places and jump of obstacles, climbing stuff etc. It's kind of hard to explain, so I'll let this Youtube video explain for me.

So really, it's like Freerunning but cooler.

So what do you think? Obviously I would have to train hard, and definitely need a lot of practice.

I'll most likely start off with precision jumping, so I can jump to long distance area's without loosing my balance.

So, should I do it?

Yep. You'll be so thankful that you started young, because if you keep up with it, by the time you're in your 20's you should be pro.

This is my opinion, when I was a bit younger I did it, then after a year or so, I realized how *censored* it is.

It's your decision but I hate it, all the people I know are bad people and they do it, and depends who's in your school or anything, but you might be hated!

That's just my opinion, don't mind me, I'm just saying.

I don't really see how just "bad people" do Parkour.

I have a friend who does a little Parkour sometimes and he's loads of fun, probably the most hyper in the class.. And he's also quiet sensible and smart.

So really, your kind of stereotyping people who do Parkour.

I think I'm going to do it.

Thats so cool. Around the 1:22 mark, the guys seems to trip up on the ledge. Personally, I wouldn't do it, because it looks too dangerous. But I think it would be great for a guy like you.

Parkour is an excellent skill to have. In an urban environment it equips you with the necessary skills to get in, get panties, and get out.

Ok? Go if you want to, But I strongly warn you. It's very Dangerious and this even a trip can send you to the hospital.

And If you watched a Program called "SCARRED" Then you will be very careful.

(SCARRED is not for the faint hearted or Weak stomached, This progarm has much bloody contain, And are all real stories. So It is not suitable for Minors.)

Yep, Just don't force youreslf, I know somepeople can't watch it even before the accidents happen in the program, Like Broken Bones, Ripped organs, And is one case, A busted gentlemen's area, Luckly, He was able to have it corrected.

So that's the reason why Minors shouldn't watch it.

So be careful while you watch it, You maybe sick with some of the most guresome videos on the school, Like whenone man slams his face in a BMX bike park and tries to get up, While looking like a Zombie from Horror films, But I have probably said far too much.

So, Don't watch it if you don't fell confortable, You have been warned.
